Cat or Dog We talked about it, you and I Each time we did, it made us cry Which would you have, if on your own Hard to say until all alone I knew I'd be lonely, going room to room Little did I know it would be so soon My life long friend, gone overnight Hate being alone, try as I might Cat or Dog. What's it to be A little puppy, as you can see I have to get up to see to his needs Take him walkies, attend to his feeds Had to do something, just needed a shove He is so friendly and so full of love Gives me a reason, to get up every day Days spent with him are not often grey You shredder of ropes, you chewer of sticks Such a friendly face and lots of licks You bundle of energy on every walk You look at me and I wish you could talk It's OK some times for you to be sad But you found me and I'm ever so glad Our daily walks are just what we need Great for us both, on that we're agreed It would seem that revisiting my old writing has got the creative juices going again or at least a line that goes round in my brain until I write it down. Then I stare at it to see if more will come, sometimes it does like this, sometimes it doesn't. In that case it sits on my desk to revisit or bin. If you would like to Buy me a Coffee to encourage me to keep going that would be great or you can Subscribe at no cost here.
